Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users of the leading apps: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Authenticator, Scanner for CoronaCheck, Zoom Workplace, and AFAS Pocket.
Microsoft Teams experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads at the beginning of the quarter, peaking at around 24.9K in mid-January before gradually declining to approximately 8.5K by the end of March. Weekly active users also showed a notable increase from 151K at the start of the quarter, peaking at 414K in late January, and then gradually decreasing to 347K by the end of March.
Microsoft Authenticator saw a steady performance in weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating around 11K to 14K throughout the quarter. The app’s weekly active users started at 362K and peaked at around 570K in early February before stabilizing around the 500K mark by the end of March.
Scanner for CoronaCheck showed a sharp rise in weekly downloads in late January, reaching approximately 29.1K, followed by a steep decline to around 628 by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 109K at the end of January and gradually decreasing to about 54K by the end of the quarter.
Zoom Workplace had a consistent download rate, starting at about 10.6K and ending at approximately 5.5K. The app's active users began at 31K, peaked at 60K in late January, and then leveled off to around 51K by the end of March. Revenue for Zoom Workplace saw minor fluctuations, with a peak of $86 in early March.
AFAS Pocket showed a decline in weekly downloads from 12.7K at the beginning of the quarter to around 4.9K by the end of March. Active users for the app began at 83.7K, with some fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at approximately 80.8K.
